Registration for the 2007-2008 Season is now open!

We are pleased to announce registration for our 8th season is underway. Click on the registration link at the bottom left to get started. Payment is to be made in full for the season via credit card. We do not accept cheques at this time unless a special request is given. Please email us at aihasingapore@gmail.com. Discounts are offered for registration prior to August 15th, so sign up today and save up to $50. Here is the fee schedule:

Before August 15, 2007:

$555 Regular Season + AIHA Membership
$530 Regular Season (AIHA Paid - Summer League)
$315 Student/Singaporean 1st Time Player + AIHA Membership
$290 Student/Singaporean 1st Time Player (AIHA Paid - Summer League)

After August 16, 2007:

$605 Regular Season + AIHA Membership
$580 Regular Season (AIHA Paid - Summer League)
$315 Student/Singaporean 1st Time Player + AIHA Membership
$290 Student/Singaporean 1st Time Player (AIHA Paid - Summer League)

Half-Season Fees:

• only applicable for indviduals who are leaving in December, or have economic hardship (i.e. no job)
• must write individually to the AIHA to get agreement
• fees payable are $325 for half season plus $25 for AIHA (if not already paid)
• payment to be made in full before the player steps onto the ice
• 2nd half frees due on 1st December 2007, if not paid player cannot play any further games
• Not applicable for student of 1st time Singaporean fees.

We will have a sign up booth at the 4 shinny sessions. We will accept only cash at these registration nights. Please feel free to register at that time should you not have credit card. We do not have half-season fees as it was too difficult to manage administratively. If you know you are leaving in December, please see us at the registration table at the shinny nights. All newcomers and students get discounted fees. Students must email or fax (6276-0365) their student ID before playing. These can also be brought to the pre-season games to register this confirmation.


Season 07-08 - details

We will have 3 divisions this year with the newest division 3 being a practice/play schedule which is mostly for beginners or people who have been out of the game for a long time and want to warm up again !

Each division will have 4 teams. The teams are drafted by Division 1 Team Managers prior to the season start and players will be notified which team they are on. Each team manager will be selecting (with the help of team managers for Divisions 2 and 3) approximately 40 players.

During the season, some players might play mainly a single division, but also can play up to a higher division, or down to a lower division depending on their skills and team requirements. All players will have a chance to hone their skills and show off their talent during our pre-season shinny matches which are scheduled as follows:

August 30th (Division 1 players only)
September 2nd (Division 2 and 3 players only)
September 3rd Division 1 players only)
September 6th (Division 1 and 2 only)

Players who participated in Divisions 1 last year, can come and play during these practices. Same for Division 2 players. Newcomers to the league can choose the division they feel is most appropriate for their skill level.

Draft Night - September 8th

All players, friends, wives and/or partners are invited to our annual draft night. We will be hosting it at one of our sponsors locations, Harry's @ Millenia Walk. Harry's is located at 9 Raffles Boulevard, #01-75A Millenia Walk. Our event host, Dave Prentice, will be happy to field any questions you might have. The league will provide a series of apppetizers and some drinks, but following this will be discounted beverages for all. Expect to meet some great people, find out more about our organizational efforts and meet your teammates. We hope to see you there.
