| Historical Stats - All-Time League Records - Season and Career
The NIHL started as a 4 team league in 2001 playing 15 games for the first season. The second season saw the league expand to 5 teams and 28 games. The 2002-03 season had the league expand into 2 divisions each with 4 teams. A summer league is held each year over the June/July period. This also began in 2001.
