On behalf of the AIHA (Singapore), we are pleased to extend to you an invitation to participate in our annual 4 on 4 tournament.

Last year’s tournament featured 10 international teams and 5 Asian teams with the Tokyo winning the Brewerkz Cup for the 1st time ever with a win over the Gulf Scorpions in a well fought match.

The Singapore Lions won their first Maple Leaf Cup with a win over the Bangkok Flying Farang Shadows. It was our largest and most successful tournament yet, so we are looking to start early and expand our program.

This year’s tournament will see a few changes. We will not have an Asian division as there is an Asian Cup tournament in April in Hong Kong most will be participating in. As a result we will have increase the number of teams to 12, but starting later in the morning and finishing earlier at night.

Play will commence on Thursday morning at 10am, but some teams can elect to start on Thursday afternoon or evening. The later slots will be reserved for teams who pay and confirm early.

The Brewerkz beer garden will return again this year, with pints and jugs of cold draft available after (during?) the games. We will also have fresh Subway sandwiches available for purchase the entire tournament, and free water for all participants.

Any funds we raise from this tournament will go towards the development of ice hockey in Singapore. We will use the funds to make continued improvements to our rink and to help develop a hockey program for Singaporeans.

To help us with the planning of the tournament and to help make our tournament a success, we ask that you confirm your participation using the deadlines in the schedule below.

Please note there will not be any extension to these dates. We are expecting a full lineup of teams, so it’s a first-come first served basis and it is possible that we will have our tournament full prior to the fee deadline. I therefore suggest you seek support as quickly as possible to confirm your team.

We have 6 teams already confirmed and 4 paid. We have 6 slots available, so let us know as soon as possible. We do not want to increase the number of teams to ensure late mornings and early finishes are ensured.
